Arts of Recovery
Colorado Arts of Recovery presents “Connections” at Regis University’s Dayton Memorial Library (DML) May 15th, 2008 – June 15th, 2008.  Artists and others living with severe mental illnesses have explored the ways in which they connect with others, with nature, with ideas, and with the world at large.  These connections are vital to living a life with meaning and purpose, in spite of having a mental illness.  The show will feature two-dimensional works of art in a variety of media, as well as written works.
7:00pm - 8:15pm Documentary "Men Get Depression" - followed by panel discussion Dining Hall, Student Center

Men get depression is a one hour documentary that explores the corrosive effect of depression on the self, relationships and careers through the intimate profiles of real men including a former NFL Quarterback, a Fortune 100 CEO, an Iraq War veteran and others. It features revealing scenes of psychotherapy, interviews with therapists, and offers commentary by leading medical authorities on the causes, symptoms and treatments of depression.
